Start your experience with baking Taboon bread, picking free range eggs for breakfast, milking sheep and have a local organic Karaki breakfast as you overlook the Mujeb valley from Karak side.
Explore the nearby village and ruins dating back to the ancient times of the Byzantines and romans. Dress up in Madraqa (the traditional dress of Karak) and take marvelous pictures across the Mujeb valley.
The you will experience making a woolen thread out of natural sheep wool and fluff natural wool to stuff it in pillow cases as clients have tea and Arabic coffee. This experience focuses on the value of wool after sheering the sheep, villagers used to use natural wool to stuff their mattresses and pillows instead of today’s polystyrene.
After that we will straw plates or baskets and pick seasonal fruits and veggies with a farmer at her agricultural land and learn how to roast barely coffee and brew it as a traditional hot healthy drink.
Then you will experience making Mansaf (cooked dry youghurt with lamb meat and white rice sprinkled with roasted pine) the traditional food of Jordan and have it for lunch. Experience the making of Jameed (the dry yoghurt starting the month of March until the end of September when there is enough goat milk for producing Jameed).
You last experience will be making goat white cheese (starting the month of March until the end of June) This experience is seasonal and when time permits will pleasantly offer it to you.
