Itinerary

DAY 01: AMMAN QUEEN ALIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – DEAD SEA

Arrival at Amman airport. Handling of border formalities and transfer to the hotel in Dead Sea with local assistant. Dinner & overnight.

AMMAN – WADI AL HASA – WADI RUM

Breakfast at hotel, you will have your 4x4 waiting for you at your hotel in Dead Sea 8:00 am start 4WD trip to the Wadi Al Hasa
Natural gardens of palm trees adorn the spectacular sandstone canyon of Wadi Hasa. The tranquil atmosphere is unequaled anywhere. There are warm springs, hidden pools and countless beauty spots. No matter how early you start –at the end of the day you will probably feel you have hurried it. On arrival to the wadi start walking through a narrow sandstone gorge, abundant water and splendid hanging gardens. At the entrance of the gorge lies a pleasant hot spring, springs flow everywhere, continue driving to Wadi Rum, explore Wadi Rum and to follow the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia , visiting the most spectacular sights of Wadi Rum. Viewing sand dunes, graffiti, inscriptions and canyons as well as having races through the dry oasis. then transfer to Camp for special Arabian Night, buffet gala dinner in Wadi Rum under the stars. The dinner will be Zarb, traditional authentic Bedouin dinner. Overnight.

DAY 03: WADI RUM FULL DAY JEEP SAFARI

Breakfast, Delve into the desert wilderness of Wadi Rum, We spend all day to Explore Wadi rum magical desert region, driving alongside with jagged mountains, canyons and rock towers. Check out ancient rock carvings and pause for photos at beauty spots along the way. Enjoy Ogle craggy cliffs, we drive like a Bedouin Trotting into the valleys and gorges, follow dried riverbeds, and stop for photos at beautiful viewpoints. Along the way, admire some of the rock petroglyphs and carvings believed to date back 12,000 years. Time to visit a Bedouin tent for Sip refreshing mint tea before reaching our Camp, We enjoy the sunset views and savor a traditional Bedouin dinner, then spend the night drinking Bedouin tea around the campfire. Overnight.

WADI RUM – HUMEMAH – RAJEF MOUNTAINS – PETRA (OPTIONAL PETRA BY NIGHT)

Breakfast, half day Jeep tour in Wadi Rum, then drive through Old Humeimah, 62 km off-road. A Nabatean caravan station from the 2nd c. BC and Roman military camp from 2nd c. AD proceed through Rajif. Driving off-road via Nova Traianah to old Mesoudah, the happy land. Highlights over the Jordan Valley and Wadi Araba, continue to Petra, dinner & overnight.

DAY 05: PETRA FULL DAY VISIT

Breakfast at the hotel, full day visit Petra, it was the rock cut stronghold of the Nabateans (and the final resting place of the Holy Grail - according to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). Surrounded by imposing mountains and approached through a deep, narrow cleft in the rocks, known as the Siq, it is a unique and unforgettable place, strange and otherworldly, enhanced by the play of light and shadow, an altogether overwhelming experience. In the morning we walk through the Siq and enter this lost city, sighting the famous temple façade of the Treasury as we approach. A guided orientation tour will take us to some of the key parts of this remarkable site, dinner & overnight.

DAY 06: PETRA – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – DEAD SEA

Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Dead Sea, on the way visit Madaba Here, when St. George's Church was being built in 1884, a map was found that was made from 2 million tesserae. It shows hills and valleys, villages and cities up to the Nile Delta, proceed to Mount Nebo. Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land from this 840 m high peak - which he himself was never to set foot on. After Mount Nebo visit we will take you to meet with the experts of Mosaic handmade crafts that keeps the tradition alive at local shop, join the experience and learn more about the old and professional way of making mosaics, Proceed to Dead Sea A spectacular natural wonder the Dead Sea is perfect for religious tourism and fun in the sun with the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sun while Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history. The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Sea's rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun, dinner & overnight.

DAY 07: DEAD SEA – AMMAN QUEEN ALIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure.
