Arrive at Riyadh International Airport, after visa and immigration formalities, your representative will greet you and escort you to your air-conditioned vehicle for your hotel transfer. Overnight in Riyadh.
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the old part of the capital of Riyadh and more precisely the historic district of King Abdul Aziz. You will visit the National Museum of Saudi Arabia to learn about the history of the country and learn more about religion, Islam. You will continue with the visit of Murabba Palace, the former residence and court of the founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdelaziz Ben Abderrahmane Al Saud. Then, you will discover Fort Masmak, built of clay and dried mud and erected more than 150 years ago. Then you leave the past to immerse yourself in the present with a visit to the recent part of the city. After lunch, you head to the city of Al Diriyah. Listed as UNESCO Heritage, it was the first capital of the kingdom and the historical crossroads of pilgrims and traders. At the end of the day, prepare for a dizzying climb of the tallest building in the country - the Al Faisaliyah Tower. Once at the top, an extraordinary view of the entire capital awaits you. Dinner in a restaurant in town and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to fly to Ha'il. After lunch in Ha'il, you will visit the fortress of Al-Qashalah built in the 1930s in the city center to be a barracks and that of Airif, much older, a stronghold built in the heights and which offers from the top of its tower, a sublime view of the city and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ha'il.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you go back in time to prehistory and head towards Jubbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This open-air gallery which extends over 39 km² offers impressive petroglyphs dating from around 5500 BC. You will find drawings of elephants, buffaloes and even camels and other domestic animals of the time. Then long road to Al-'Ulâ. Lunch en route. Arrival in Al-'Ulâ. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day of absolutely fantastic archaeological discoveries from the region of Al-Ulâ, Dedan and Hegra. The day begins with a visit to the impressive rock of the elephant, an emblematic image of the region and carved by time. Then it continues in the direction of Hegra, a UNESCO heritage site dating back to pre-Islamic times. It is here that you can discover more than dozens of rock-cut tombs, with elaborate and very well preserved facades and representative examples of Nabataean architecture in all its splendor, the 2nd city of the Nabataean Empire after Petra. The biblical site of Dedan, has been excavated to only 4%, but the organized structure of the city is clearly visible and the inscriptions found document the political and societal organization of the kingdom. Lunch in a local restaurant during the visit. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Al-'Ulâ.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the old town of Al 'Ulah before heading towards Medina which houses one of the most famous Muslim religious sites: the Prophet's Mosque. You will follow the old Hijâz railway road, built by the Ottomans to allow pilgrims coming from Damascus to reach Mecca more quickly. The latter could not reach its final destination and stopped in Medina and it is during the journey that you will discover the history of this unique railway route and the stations that punctuate it. These railways were made famous by the attacks and sabotage of the "Lawrence of Arabia" railway during the First World War. Lunch en route. At the end of the afternoon, you will make a short transfer to Mount Uhud to enjoy an extraordinary view of the city of Medina. Dinner and night in Medina.
Breakfast at the hotel. Driving day along the coast of the Red Sea to reach the city of Jeddah. Possibility of swimming and snorkeling (mask provided) to discover the rich aquatic fauna of the Red Sea as well as the very old shipwrecks. Lunch of delicious grilled fish along the way. Arrival in Jeddah at the end of the day, the second largest city in the country, a port city, commercial and resolutely modern, it is the gateway to the holy city of Mecca. Dinner in a restaurant in the city and overnight at the hotel in Jeddah.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, discover Al Balad, the old and historic part of Jeddah and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will walk through its alleys and discover the stalls that animate them before arriving at the Nassef house, one of the best restored houses and which once belonged to one of the most powerful merchant families in Jeddah. You will continue with a visit to Souq Al Alawi, the largest in the country for a total immersion in the Arab world. It is here that you will find typical Arab treasures and of course an intoxicating atmosphere. At the end of the afternoon, you find the edge of the sea and the unique cornice with its many sculptures which dot over 30 km in length. Then you will stop to admire the exterior of the Fatima-Al-Zahra mosque, better known as the floating mosque. Last dinner in a typical restaurant to end this trip in style. Overnight at hotel in Jeddah.
