Überblick

Departing from our helipad in Khalda, we will move covering the Bahhath Area in the valley of Wadi Sir, southwest of Amman, which is home to Qasr Al-Abd (Castle of the Slave). Other nearby ruins include a village, an isolated house and a fountain, all of which are barely visible today due to the damage brought by a major earthquake. Qasr Al-Abd is believed to have been built by Hyrcanus of Jerusalem, who was the head of the powerful Tobiad family.

Then we proceed to Marj al Hamam, Mahes and Fuheis Areas. Flying over Al Adaseyya Highway ending with the Kaferin Dam which is a few kilometers north of the Dead Sea, it drains from the eastern highlands near Wadi Sir, Amman and Hisban westward to the Jordan Valley and to the Jordan River. You will get to see the west of Madaba (City of Mosaics).

Approaching the Dead Sea, we fly over Ma’in, where the hot springs are located, those springs are heated by hot water that comes from the top of the basaltic mountain and are dotted with waterfalls, painting a panoramic picture of nature and the depth of religious and historical heritage. And just before we drop you off to the Dead Sea Panorama Restaurant, you will satisfy your senses with a breathtaking view over the Dead Sea shoreline, a lake between the West Bank and Jordan. 418 meters (1,371 feet) below sea level making it the lowest point on the surface of the Earth. The Dead Sea is almost nine times as salty as the ocean.

After you enjoy the restaurant’s savory Mediterranean, Middle Eastern cuisine with your loved ones, our captains will fly you back over the same route so you never miss a thing!
